Stoyan Dechev’s practice involves long-term projects, large-scale sculptures, and installations, including drawing, animation, and video, in response to specific materials, sites, and contexts. In addition, he brings historical or mythical artifacts into current topics, such as: weather, nature, astronomy, feminism, languages, resources, activism, or the role and work of the sculptor in society.
